Lifting Gear Solutions was started by Peter Falconer (BE Mech) who had many years experience working in Materials Handling providing solutions for customer problems/projects.

Following Peter Falconer's tragic death in 2009, Mulholland Engineering Ltd. purchased the goodwill and assets of Lifting Gear Solutions Ltd.

About Patrick Mulholland

Patrick Mulholland met Peter Falconer through playing in the same jazz band, and designed runway beams and associated support steelwork for Lifting Gear Solutions Ltd from 2007 to 2009.
He has been a design consultant for the last 14 years, mainly for an overseas fabricator. (This company supplies storage tanks, support steelwork and lifting tackle for packaged process equipment destined for onshore and offshore oil production facilities).

He graduated from Cambridge University with an honours degree in Mechanical Engineering, and had experience in site construction, commissioning, plant operation and maintenance in the Petrochemical and Power Boiler industries before he started to specialise in design. He gets a lot of satisfaction from seeing a project through from first enquiry to a working crane installation

About Safetech

Established in 1985, Safetech Pty Ltd is an Australian innovator, designer and manufacturer of Materials Handling equipment. Safetech has grown to encompass a range of materials handling products that are distributed worldwide.
Palift was their first product and quickly established a reputation as a low cost, productive solution to pallet stacking problems and soon gained worldwide acceptance. The Safetech range now includes stretch film and hydraulic lift tables, trolleys, stretch tape wrappers, freight hoists, overhead handling systems, pallet handling equipment and many other materials handling product.
All products are designed and supported by a skilled team of engineers and materials handling consultants. Mulholland Engineering Ltd works with this team to provide expert advice and assistance to help customers find the right solution to their manual or materials handling problem.
